Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled CCMA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients across various settings, including pediatrics, urgent care, and family medicine. The CCMA/LPN will work closely with a mulitdispinary team and physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients while adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with disease management education.
- Conduct assessments and document patient information accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Operate medical equipment as needed for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, including Durable Medical Equipment (DME), ensuring they are clean and functional.
Requirements
- Valid CCMA certification or LPN license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics and/or family care environments.
- Knowledge of infection control practice techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating compassion for patients' needs.
- Familiarity with medical equipment is a plus.
