JOB OVERVIEW:Until Filled
Hawthorn’s Summer Music Camp offers students that are currently involved in large ensembles (band and orchestra) at Hawthorn an opportunity to further their knowledge and skills in a fun and welcoming environment. Students are grouped by instrument (band or orchestra) and grade-level (5-6, 7-9).
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
PERFORMANCE QUALITIES:
Applicants must hold, or be eligible for, a valid Illinois Professional Educator License, including music endorsement. Previous experience teaching instrumental music (band/orchestra) to school age students is preferred.
Reports To: HEI & Music Summer Administrator
Term: June 23 - July 2 (No programming July 3, 4, All Fridays), 8:00 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.
