We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations.
- Respond to phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and booking requests.
- Resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to provide outstanding guest relations and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
