Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. This position involves performing night audits, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with excellent communication skills. This position is Part-Time with 2 shifts per week.
Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Provide outstanding guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests.
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins and check-outs during the night shift.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing hotel operations and financial performance.
- Assist guests with requests and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Ensure the security of the hotel premises during overnight hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in night audit or front desk operations within a hotel setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with hospitality software systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
