We are currently seeking talented individuals for our Construction Technology Solutions Coordinator position!

Here is some of what you’ll do…

POSITION SUMMARY

Works closely with Product Support, Rental, Sales, and Service teams to support initiatives related to construction technology products and digital solutions, including connectivity, equipment management, and other applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Supports construction technology products, including Product Link, VisionLink, Cat App, Cat Inspect, machine control and guidance and other technology applications and solutions for customer and equipment management.
• Installs and troubleshoots Product Link devices on construction equipment and engines/generators.
• Works in relevant software applications to add or update customer and equipment data.
• Performs equipment inspections utilizing Cat Inspect application and communicates relevant equipment information to Inspection Specialist or appropriate representative (PSSR/ISR).
• Grants access and maintains user accounts within various applications/user interfaces.
• May interact with customers and provide information on various digital solutions.
• Provides guidance to and supports Service personnel for hardware installation and configuration.
• Instructs Hawthorne employees on relevant digital applications, including Cat Inspect, PCC, VIMS, VisionLink, etc.
• Builds collaborative relationships with Service, Sales, Marketing, IT, Parts, and Product Support personnel.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
• Approximately 80% of the time will be spent in the field with customers.
• Performs and supports various other duties and projects as assigned.
  
  
  

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Two to five years of experience in construction / heavy equipment industry preferred.
• Product knowledge in Caterpillar and associated product lines preferred.
• DBS and/or AS400 experience preferred.
• Must have a valid California Class C Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Ability to communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word.
• Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.

• Lifting May lift up to 25 lbs.
• Reaching Extends hands and arms in any direction.
• Stooping Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
• Standing Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
• Vision Reads computer screens and paperwork.
• Talking Communicates via telecommunications and in person.
• Sitting Sits at desk. Sits for long periods of time.
