Hawthorne Hills Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time client care specialist to join our team! We are a woman-owned, privately owned, small animal hospital across from the Roosevelt light rail station with a focus on Fear-Free veterinary care. Veterinary excellence is why we are an AAHA accredited (only ~15% are) and Cat Friendly certified hospital. Our team is expanding and we are looking to add friendly, focused professionals to provide excellent care for our clients and their pets.

Client Care Specialists are responsible for greeting clients and pets, differentiating routine cases from emergency cases, scheduling appointments, creating/importing/maintaining client/patient data in electronic patient medical records, processing payments, performing end of day reconciliation, and coordinating with specialists, knowing our vaccine protocols, understanding our retail products and much more. Comfort with computer systems, technology and people is required.

Basic cross-training in other areas of the hospital is expected over time to ensure all team members understand core functions and provide coverage when team members are out sick, on vacation or patient needs necessitate assistance.

Experience in the veterinary field is not a requirement, but veterinary experience will set you apart from other candidates. Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
