Construction Equipment Service Technician

Position Summary
This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for performing various tasks in the repair, maintenance, and rebuilding of equipment in the service shop or field.
The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision and adhere to safety protocols, efficiency, and capability standards.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include:

1. Executing all guidelines outlined in Caterpillar Lubrication & Maintenance Guides.
2. Conducting thorough checks on new and used equipment before delivery to ensure seamless handovers.
3. Implementing Caterpillar updates as directed by the manufacturer.
4. Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling equipment components.
5. Diagnosing issues with engines and other systems.

Qualifications
To excel in this position, you must possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant technical education.
• Two years of experience in diesel engine or earthmoving repair.
• A valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
