The Grand Summit Hotel is seeking a professional Banquet Setup Person to join our Food and Beverage team in a Part-Time position. Expected shifts will include mornings, lunches, dinners, and late nights on various days of the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up events according to BEO timing and direction from the F&B Director.
- Set-up and break-down of events according to BEO and floor plan outlines, including moving/stacking tables and chairs, setting linens, flatware, and glassware, arranging décor, setting and breaking down buffet lines, and all other assigned pre-function duties.
- Maintain proper storage of banquet décor, tools, linens, and equipment.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year serving experience in a restaurant, catering, or banquet capacity preferred.
- Ability to work in a constructive, team working environment with a positive, upbeat, and customer-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work nights or mornings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days (i.e., town festivals).
- Ability to move and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
