What you will do (includes but not limited to):
You will attend pre-shift meeting to learn event details, provide event menu (plated or buffet style) according to BEO, maintain tables by clearing plates and replenishing drinks. Serve alcoholic (wine/champagne for toasts)/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with state law and resort guidelines. Stock glasses, flatware, related event supplies and complete all assigned duties. Provide clear, professional communication with Manager, team members, and kitchen staff to ensure prompt, efficient service. Fondly thank all guests and invite back. Hold self to a higher standard and be a role model at all times.
Qualities and characteristics of a resort Banquet Server includes being friendly, punctual, efficient, and energetic.
Minimum requirements include speaking and understanding English, possessing the abilities to perform duties with attention to speed and accuracy, provide clear, professional communication, and read and comprehend BEOs.
Minimum education required is a high school diploma/GED.
Minimum experience required: 6 months serving experience.
