We’re looking for a Caregiver Extraordinaire who is passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. In this important role, you will play a key part in helping clients achieve greater independence and enhance their well-being in both their homes and the community. Referral Bonus Program – Earn rewards by referring clients in need of care! There are unlimited opportunities to refer, but clients must have Medicaid and qualify for home help services.
What You’ll Do
- Assist clients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Monitor clients' physical and emotional health, providing interventions as necessary to ensure their well-being.
- Encourage and facilitate participation in social and recreational activities, promoting community involvement.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Advocate for clients by ensuring their rights and personal preferences are always respected in their care plans.
- Keep detailed records of client progress, changes in condition, and important updates, reporting them promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and revise individualized care plans.
- Provide first aid and respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in caregiving or direct support roles, particularly with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and health monitoring practices.
- Ability to assist with client mobility and lifting when necessary.
- Understanding of resident rights and principles of community-based care.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a team-oriented attitude.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving.
- Flexibility to adapt to clients' changing needs and caregiving requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.93 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
