Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide relevant menu information.
- Maintain a stocked inventory, ensuring all products are stored correctly.
- Assist with basic prep tasks like washing, chopping, and meal setups.
- Deliver consistent, quality food and beverages by following our recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Inform guests about allergens for all items, both prepacked and fresh.
- Handle cash transactions, adhering to our POS and cash-handling standards.
- Keep the cafe clean and organized, upholding our regular maintenance schedules.
- Promote our brand image of gourmet offerings and top-tier customer service.
- Follow health and safety regulations and relay guest feedback for potential menu updates.
- Proactively address customer needs and other immediate operational priorities.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Operational Manager.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of various meal ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Willingness to cross train and learn the barista or other FOH roles.
- Some experience preferred (1-3 years in a similar setting). We can work with anyone with the right attitude for our growing team.
- Weekend availability is a must!
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively and independently.
- Must have problem-solving abilities, be self-motivated, and be organized.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
- Servsafe Certified is a plus.
