Description

Idaho’s largest and fastest growing distributor, Hayden Beverage Company is accepting applications for a  Key Account Manager.  We are looking for someone who can Establish and nurture relationships with assigned key accounts while collaborating with the VP of Key Accounts, VP of Beer, and VP of NA to expand distribution, secure account planner approvals, and drive advertising initiatives aligned with supplier and company priorities.

General Statement of Duties :

  • Responsible for all products
  • Build strong and trusting relationship with buyers of assigned accounts
  • Work closely with key suppliers to promote brand priorities.
  • Achieve annual business plan growth and share goals and deliver accounts more profit
  • Increase effective placements in assigned accounts.
  • Present and secure New Item Distribution for entire book
  • Present and propose items for planners and ad’s
  • Create and finalize pricing files needed to execute promotions with lead time for accounts.
  • Communicate and support HBC pricing team with account details
  • Update and communicate monthly programming with Sales Teams
  • Complete Trimester business review to buyers
  • Communicate monthly IRI Category information to Buyers
  • Align with Brand VP and Suppliers on priority brand / Sku placements.
  • Communicate add / delete list to purchasing and sales team for ordering and execution of resets
  • Review schematics with each accounts category manager to validate sets
  • Communicate add & delete info to sales department prior to resets.
  • Maintain reset calendar and help manage execution of calendar with execution team
  • Develops unique ideas that can be used to address sales issues and improve sales results.
  • Focuses on projects and initiatives that deliver value to the organization.
  • Leverages internal insights and external best practices to promote leading edge thinking.
  • Responds to supplier / customer needs with expert quality and timeliness that contribute to successful outcomes.
  • Analyzes and influences new ideas to push own thinking and generate exceptional results.
  • Designs new solutions by challenging and enhancing current processes with industry inputs.

Qualifications

Qualifications :

  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License; Must have reliable transportation for daily use in sales calls.
  • Minimum 3 years of CPG sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate outstanding presentation and persuasive sales abilities.
  • Demonstrate an exceptional ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients while providing high levels of service by communicating clear and timely responses to issues, requests, problems and regular reporting.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently while functioning as a member of a team through communication and engagement in self-directed resourcefulness and analytical thinking.
  • Develop Brand / Sales Plan as well as Develop and Implement Promotional Activities.
