Hayden Homes Amphitheater is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Dishwasher / Prep Cook to keep our kitchen trailer running smoothly during the 2025 concert season (May-October). This is an excellent entry-level role for anyone eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen while working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Typical shifts are 6-8 hours and follow the concert show schedule -some weeks will be light, while others will be busier depending on show demand.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) :
- Dishwashing : Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans in a 3-compartment sink, ensuring everything meets health and safety standards.
- Kitchen Cleaning : Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. This includes cleaning countertops, equipment, and floors throughout service.
- Trash & Recycling : Empty and replace trash bags as needed, ensuring clutter-free and waste-free workspaces.
- Food Prep : Assist with chopping, portioning, and assembling food items under the guidance of kitchen staff.
- Learn The Ropes : Under the guidance of our Kitchen Lead , you'll have opportunities to jump on the line, assist with food prep, and learn essential cooking techniques. This is a great chance to develop your culinary skills while working in a fast-paced, professional kitchen.
- End-of-Shift Cleanup : Help break down stations, wash dishes, clean floors, wipe surfaces, and store equipment to keep things running smoothly for the next shift.

Physical Requirements :
Must be able to stand for extended periods during shifts.
Scheduling Acknowledgment :
Work hours follow the concert schedule -some weeks will require only a couple shifts, while others will have many more hours available depending on event needs. Flexibility is key!
