Key Responsibilities
- Internal & Retail Parts Sales
- Take ownership of the customer experience with Hayden Machinery, ensuring satisfaction at every interaction.
- Process technician and customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Collaborate with the service and sales departments to ensure parts availability for repairs and customer needs.
- Process Service Parts requests by ordering from vendors and utilizing Hayden Machinery parts inventory.
- Utilize our operating system, dealer and vendor resources, and other sales tools proficiently to document and bill all parts sales accurately.
- Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to ensure availability of parts. Generate stock order as needed.
- Carry out cycle counts and assist with full inventory counts of your branch.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and instructions for parts sales, returns, and operations.
- Warehouse Management
- Pick, pack, and label products accurately for outgoing orders to retail customers, shop, and field technicians.
- Handle shop and retail returns.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange for timely and efficient delivery of orders.
- Organize and maintain warehouse space for efficient storage and accessibility.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the warehouse by following standard procedures and regulations.
- Dispose of waste materials and hazardous items in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Ensure all orders are properly marked and labeled.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the maintenance department.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate computer skills including, typing/data entry, Microsoft/GSuite, email/text communication are required.
- Understand attention to detail and time management.
Physical Abilities/Requirements:
- Able to work overtime, including evenings, occasional weekends and holidays (on rare occasions).
- Able to stand for an extensive amount of time. Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Work is performed with some exposure to outside elements and seasonal environmental factors. Periods of stooping, bending and lifting occur.
