Seasonal Parts Support - Warehouse/Shipping

Job Summary:

Hayden Machinery is seeking a highly organized and efficient warehouse person to join our team. The warehouse person will be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling inventory, performing general warehouse duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility. This role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong teamwork skills. Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory items.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock movements, damaged goods, and discrepancies.
  • Perform regular stock checks, cycle counts, and full inventory counts, then report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Order Fulfillment:

• • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they are complete, properly packed, and labeled correctly.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange for timely and efficient delivery of orders.

Warehouse Organization:

• • Organize and maintain warehouse space for efficient storage and accessibility.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the warehouse by following standard procedures and regulations.
  • Dispose of waste materials and hazardous items in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Equipment Operation:

• • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct equipment inspections on equipment and report any issues to the maintenance department.

Quality Control:

• • Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracy.
  • Report any damaged or faulty items to the supervisor and assist in the return process.

Team Collaboration:

• • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist colleagues in their tasks when required, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
