Compensation - Hourly rate: $23.00 - $30.00, based on qualifications and experience.
Work Schedule - Dayshift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, Weekends and nights as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of electrical tasks in commercial, industrial, or residential installations.
- Lay out, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment.
- Perform wire terminations.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems on various job sites.
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical materials and tools.
- Analyze, interpret, and understand blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Mentor apprentices and helpers; monitor work progress.
- Accurately code timecards and complete time and material sheets.
- Collaborate with electricians and other tradespeople.
- Maintain materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly and safe manner.
- Communicate professionally with employees, management, and customers.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Educational/Work Experience/Certifications
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Journeyperson certificate or 7 years equivalent work experience.
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
Skills/Abilities
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Supervise assigned crew to ensure project completion with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Knowledge of the latest National Electric Code (NEC) and NFPA70E.
- Proficient in testing electrical systems or circuit continuity using devices like ohmmeters, voltmeters, or meggers.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) is advantageous.
- Correctly identify wire colors, including shades and brightness, to splice, join, and connect wires to fixtures and components.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches, laying conduit, or moving/lifting heavy objects using hand tools or power equipment.
- Operate two-handed tools/equipment like cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.
- Operate and work from mechanical hydraulic lifts (electric or gas powered) as needed.
- Drive company trucks as required.
- Safely operate equipment (e.g., trenchers and backhoes) as needed.
- Follow instructions diligently.
- Uphold company values and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
- Knowledge of Trimble is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Jobsite visits may involve lifting not to exceed 50 pounds; standing, bending, or reaching for extended periods.
- Work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with overtime and night shifts as required.
- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers; frequent bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching with body, arms, and/or legs.
- Work outdoors or in confined spaces such as switcher rooms, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, attics.
- Provide basic hand tools, including a tool belt and pouch, for jobsite use.
- Utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta Johns).
- Perform tasks at heights up to 60 feet from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other safe work areas.
- Work from various types of ladders, including "A" frame ladders up to 14 feet and extension ladders of all sizes. Ability to carry and relocate up to 12-foot step ladder independently.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.
Special Requirements
- Travel to jobsites locally, in-state, and out-of-state as business needs dictate; evening and weekend work as required. Responsible for personal transportation to and from local and regional jobsites.
- Always wear personal protective equipment on jobsite: hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, safety shoes, gloves, harness, etc.
- Employee's weight and personal tools must not exceed the ladder weight limit (Class 1, 250 lbs.; Class 1A, 300 lbs.).
- Background checks, screenings, and physicals.
- Understand, follow, and enforce all established safety, health, quality, and company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
- Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards.
- Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
