Duties
- Perform body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and refinishing.
- Utilize power tools and equipment for various repair tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to identify any additional repair needs.
- Work with sheet metal to fabricate parts as necessary for repairs.
- Apply airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a smooth and professional finish.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Collaborate with team members in a dealership environment to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues.
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment related to auto body repair.
- Experience with auto glass installation is a plus.
- Ability to fabricate parts using sheet metal techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to auto body repair are preferred.
