Hybrid work schedule : Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm (1 remote day per week after the first 90 days and in good standing)

Summary :

This position will report directly to our Director of Strategic Accounts. We are looking for an individual who can further develop existing client relationships as well as establish new relationships through business development initiatives. The Strategic Account Manager goal will be to help drive the business growth at Hayes Locums and cultivate decision maker relationships. This position is pivotal in ensuring client retention, satisfaction, advocacy, and, most importantly, growth.

Responsibilities :

  • Help develop new client relationships and strategically grow existing partnerships.
  • Work with existing clients to create strategic partnerships and further develop established client relationships
  • Operating as the client consultant representative for single point of contact accounts
  • Attending specialty team stand ups to partner with consultants and relay information on open opportunities
  • Gather pertinent information about opportunities, presentations, and answer questions to collaborate with consultants
  • Initiate client relationships by establishing an integrated network of communication and points of contacts for health systems through research, sourcing, and contacting new contacts by phone, email, or any other effective strategy that may develop new business
  • Partner with the Vice President of Business Development to generate new client accounts and contracts
  • Maintain regular contact and site visits, when necessary, within assigned accounts
  • Remain current on continuing education on new industry standards, trends, and rules concerning contractual language, specialty rates
  • Act as liaison between necessary departments to facilitate sales process and growth strategies to effectively meet our client's needs
  • Obtain intelligence and opportunities for growth through feedback and close relationships with decision makers at key accounts
  • Locates or proposes potential new leads by contacting potential clients, discovering, and exploring opportunities
  • Partner with the Director of Strategic Accounts to create, maintain, and address service quality concerns
  • Strategize individualized account plans for expansion opportunities in collaboration with Director of Strategic Accounts
  • Facilitate voice of customer reporting and applicable business reviews

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or outside sales
  • Previous experience in a metrics-driven environment with the ability to drive results
  • Proficiency with managing objections and high-level sales talk tracks
  • Ability to utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, collaborate, and build positive relationships
