Hayes Manufacturing is looking for an Order Entry Specialist at our Fife Lake, MI location. The Order Entry Specialist retrieves and processes incoming daily orders into the company’s ordering system. Orders are received in multiple ways, including email, fax, phone, and customers’ websites. You will maintain the customer database by entering and updating customer and account information. You will contact customers to resolve any issues with orders.
What You’ll Do:
· Enter orders into computer software for processing including pricing, packaging, and shipping instructions after reviewing orders for deficiencies.
· Verify entered customer and account information by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
· Notify customers when an order is received via their preferred contact method.
· Maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
· Process customers’ credit card orders, keeping information confidential.
· Field customer questions and complaints with a cooperative attitude.
What You’ll Need:
· 1-3 years of administrative, customer service, or other relevant experience.
· Must be detailed and thorough in completing tasks.
· Well-organized.
· Strong sense of confidentiality.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Familiar with basic office and computer equipment.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
