SUMMARY
The Power Plant Custodian is an entry-level support employee that performs janitorial/custodial/cleanup duties in and around the office and non-industrial areas of the facility. Responsible for grounds keeping duties around the facility as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs the janitorial/custodial duties in office buildings, meeting rooms and other occupied areas of the facility to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Performs grounds keeping maintenance around the immediate areas of the office buildings and meeting places to maintain a highly aesthetic appearance.
- Performs minor maintenance on nonessential equipment and facilities.
- Prepares/sets up for special events, meetings, training and other functions as required.
- Assists in a variety of other tasks (i.e., run errands, carry messages) to meet overall needs of the facility. Receives instruction, guidance, and directions from manager or senior staff.
