Founded in 2020, HaylieRead Design is a growing interior design firm out of Downers Grove, IL. HRD’s mission is to create spaces that are personal to each family's life. Focusing on beauty and function simultaneously. HRD is growing and searching for an interior design project manager to elevate our client experience and expand the firm’s growth.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an interior design project manager with 5 years of experience working on both the creative and management side of projects. This individual is to have qualities in leadership, creativity, fun, organization, and dependability. This position will have a huge impact on the development of this small design business and will work hand in hand with the Principal to continuously grow and enhance HaylieRead Design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Work under the direction of the Principal designer.

·       Perform any Construction Administration services that are related to the Interior Design scope of work for the project, including site visits and showroom meetings.

·       Review technical drawings from vendors, redlining, and working through the approval process.

·       Serve as point of contact for communication and coordination with architects, builders, vendors, and fabricators.

·       Serve as client liaison from order placement to FF delivery and installation.

·       Responsible for establishing and monitoring design, production, and FF installation schedule.

·       Leads quality assurance for the project and assures that department standards are utilized.

·       Meet regularly with the Principal to obtain concurrence on major issues, discuss solutions to problems and set strategies.

·       Support Principal in big picture company process evaluations and implementation of new processes & SOPs.

·       Display exceptional written communication skills in preparing reports, correspondence, and proposals.

·       Display powerful desire to function as mentor and demonstrate good mentoring skills.

·       Represent the firm in the world with positivity and kindness.

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor’s and/or master’s in interior design

·       5 years of professional design experience

·       NCIDQ certification preferred

·       Proficient in Excel and Microsoft suite

·       Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD, with strong ability to review technical drawings

·       Professional, sharp, detail oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills

·       Proactive nature, great instincts and open to feedback. Eager to take responsibility and provide clients with exceptional service.

·       Ability to organize and prioritize work, take initiative, and communicate tasks through an online platform for all project team members.

·       Must have the ability to transport oneself to job sites and showrooms within the Chicagoland area

·       Ability to lift 15-20 lbs – small furniture, boxes, accessories, etc.
