Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified physician to fill a locum tenens position in Maryland, specializing in Internal Medicine with a focus on Hematology and Oncology. This assignment offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care in a dynamic environment.
Assignment Details
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (includes a lunch break)
- Weekend call coverage: rotating every 4-5 weekends
- Weekday call coverage: 2-3 days per month, with an NP taking first call on weekdays
Practice Setting
The successful candidate will be working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing Epic EMR system.
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Licensure: Maryland license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS required
- Board Certification: Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
- Fellowship Training: Required
- Hospital Privileges: Temporary privileges available
- Experience with Stroke-Certified Facilities: Preferred
