Work Details :
Support Staff : Each provider supported by dedicated medical assistants, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, with many clinics equipped with onsite pediatricians and local healthcare administrators for efficient timecard submission.
Patient Load : Up to 18 scheduled patients per day, with flexibility based on cancellations and walk-ins. Comfort with a fast-paced environment is essential.
Patient Population : From newborns to geriatrics. Providers must be adept at managing a wide range of age groups.
Department Description : Community Health Center specializing in outpatient ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in / acute care, and chronic disease management. Experience with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, is valued. Interpretative services are available onsite. While bilingualism is a plus, it is not required.
EMR : EPIC
Special Procedures : Routine procedures including injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care.
Skills Required : Proficiency in immediate patient care delivery. Onsite orientation provided with a one-week ramp-up period before independent patient care responsibilities commence.

Setting : Outpatient ambulatory setting - Community Health Center
Travel Logistics :
Travel Coverage : Includes flight, rental car or mileage reimbursement, and lodging accommodations.
Requirements :
Board Certification : Required
State License : Active Washington state license required. Non-licensed candidates will not be considered.
DEA : Active Washington state DEA required
Certifications : Specific certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.) will be discussed during credentialing. Candidates responsible for obtaining necessary certifications.
Experience : Minimum of 2 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner with recent face-to-face patient care experience within the past year. Clean background without any malpractice issues.
