Description
The Manager is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the Intensive Outpatient Program, Conventional Outpatient Program, DUI Program and DCFS related outpatient programming at Haymarket Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision to counselors and support staff.
- Review charts for accuracy and for adherence to charting standards.
- Complete performance evaluations and take disciplinary steps if necessary.
- Implement directives and recommendations of Clinical Director and Assistant Clinical Director.
- Provide group and individual counseling in the absence of the primary counselor or as needed or requested.
- Work and communicate with other departments in Haymarket Center to assure proper referrals and procedures.
- Participate in management staff meetings and communicate Haymarket Center policies and procedures to staff.
- Develop citywide outreach and recruitment plans for Outpatient and DCFS Project Safe clients.
- Perform duties related to supervising and being liaison for DCFS related outpatient cases.
- Review Carelogic to ensure that productivity standards are being met by all of the Outpatient staff.
- Provide written and monthly report (MOR) to administration that is reflective of each managed program or service’s activities
- Oversee and coordinate continued expansion of outpatient services.
- Attend PHIMC quarterly meetings.
- Adhere to the Recovery Coach curriculum to its fidelity.
- Extensive documentation of required activities; strong data entry skills (Carelogic/PHIMC reporting)
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide daily accurate census. Assure daily completion of staff billable hours as prescribed by Manager. Provide and document supervision with staff and all other duties related to DCFS cases.
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- LPC, LCPC, LSW or LCSW.
- Master’s Degree in Psychology or related field
- At least two year's experience as a Substance Abuse Counselor.
- Strong organizational and communications skills.
