Description
SUMMARY :
The School Billing Coordinator reviews all billing documentation and reports to the program manager any issues such as timeliness, documentation compliance, and suggestions for training needs as trends are discovered. The coordinator also oversees school student and client records and performs random reviews to support compliance.
JOB DUTIES :
- Coordination of NPA and NPS services logs and documentation Comp Ed, Behavior, Assessment, and IEP Services
- Familiarity with all rules and regulations pertaining to special education billing and documentation
- Possess broad knowledge regarding child development and learning, exceptional children, and special education
- Create and maintain database systems and procedures for tracking documentation, including heavy use of Excel workbooks
- Work effectively with other professional disciplines in the schools and community agencies
- Confer effectively with appropriate school personnel and providers
- Knowledge and facilitation of activities of daily operation
- Performs other reasonable related duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
While performing this job, the incumbent typically spends time standing, walking on sloped / hilly areas of campus, carrying, driving, lifting (up to 40 pounds), listening, speaking, reaching, and writing
