What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Intern position at Haynes International?
About the Role :
The Human Resources Intern will work onsite from our Corporate Office in Kokomo on a part-time, year-round basis. It is expected for the intern to work 10 - 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate course load and full time during the summer if desired. The intern will gain hands-on experience in multiple aspects of HR and will interface with various business departments focusing on HRIS, benefits, total compensation and HR generalist responsibilities.
Qualifications : Education :
Pursuing Bachelor of Science / Arts Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business or related field and at least in junior year standing. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Experience :
At least one year of customer service experience preferred; Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (specifically Excel).
Areas of Knowledge :
Knowledge and understanding of basic Human Resources functions; Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products including Excel.
