ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned :

Responsible for the safe transportation of parts and equipment for the company

Pick up and deliver parts as needed to jobsites to expedite service jobs

Assists, when needed, field personnel in getting heavy equipment to equipment rooms and / or rooftops

Makes minor repairs to our building, helps with office / conference room set up, also equipment breakdown and oil / refrigerant extraction

REQUIREMENTS :

Must have a clean driving record and have good driving skills

General understanding of hand tools and operation

Must be organized and have the ability to follow protocols and procedures

Work well independently and have good time management skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Able to lift 75 lbs from floor to waist with possible repetition

Able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger or handle or feel objects

Able to lift 50 lbs from shoulder to overhead

Able to work with both arms above head for minimum of 5 minutes

Able to carry 50 lbs for a distance of 25 feet

Able to push or pull 125 for a distance of 500 feet

Able to climb stairs and ladders

Able to carry 30 lbs while climbing stairs or a ladder

Able to grip and operate hand tools, powers tools and safety equipment

Able to lift legs and step over obstacles up to 19 inches above the ground

Vision : Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Hearing : Correctable to normal range

Work environment : While performing the duties of this job, the associate is exposed to (moderate / minimal) noise levels.

Compensation : $20-$24 / hour

Salary : $20 - $24
