Haynes Therapy Group is seeking a skilled sign-language interpreter for an elementary school student in North Georgia for the remainder of the 24/25 school year with the potential to renew for next school year!
Haynes Therapy Group is currently seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter for a full time position providing 1:1 interpreting services to an elementary school student. As a school-based interpreter, your primary role is to facilitate effective communication between a Deaf/HOH student and their teachers and peers. The ideal candidate will have previous school based interpreting experience and a passion for working with children. This position is with a highly regarded school system that is incredibly supportive of their team and eager to find the perfect candidate.

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or completion of an Interpreter Program preferred
- EIPA 3.5 or higher preferred
- RID Certification
- Educational Interpreter License (State of Georgia)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation services to bridge communication gaps between deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and those who can hear.
- Translate written materials into sign language to ensure accessibility for all individuals.
- Support communication within the school setting to facilitate inclusive learning environments.
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain professional conduct standards at all times.
