Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated school psychologist to join our team in North Georgia, about 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. This school system has an experienced, supportive team of psychologists in place and is seeking an additional team member to assist with completing initial and re-evaluations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in completing educational assessments to determine eligibility based on Georgia standards. This position requires a strong understanding of psychological principles as they relate to children and adolescents, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals. We are ideally seeking a full time clinician but are also open to interviewing applicants interested in part-time or per diem work!

Duties
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning and behavioral challenges.
- Write an individualized evaluation report outlining student strengths and weaknesses in the educational setting.
- Determine eligibility for special education services based on results of comprehensive educational evaluations.
- Consult with teachers and staff to create supportive learning environments that address the needs of all students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and share insights.
- Offer early intervention strategies for at-risk students to promote positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Experience
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Georgia license
- Prior experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred
