Join a national Engineering Firm and lead their local Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineering efforts!
Your new company
Join a well-established & growing North-East based Engineering Firm and support a variety of industry sectors as a Plumbing & Fire Protection Department Head. Based either Manhattan NYC or Boston MA. Base salary circa $150k to $190k, plus bonus / benefits etc.
Your new role
You will play a technical leadership role in the local office and broader North-East region. You will still be involved in hands-on production work, while also providing technical leadership & mentoring to junior members of the team. QA / QC, Project Management, Client Relation Management, Engineering Calculations, Field / Site Surveys, etc will all be part of your role. Key markets they focus on, amongst others, are; Mission Critical / Data Center, Residential, Education, Commercial & Transportation.
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrable experience leading complex Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineering projects across a variety of industries, hands-on project management & technical leadership experience, expertise with training & coaching junior Engineers, and an innovative mindset that can help improve internal standards & best practices. Having a PE License is considered advantageous but not mandatory.
