Our client is seeking a Security Architect in Atlanta, GA.
Role Description
Overview : Join our team dedicated to supporting the "Enhancing the Stay" project for client, focusing on improving the guest experience through digital innovation. This role will be integral to the Q1 digital experience team, which is currently defining the project, including discovery, POC, and requirements definition phases.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as the dedicated security resource for the digital experience team.
Design and implement cloud security architecture, primarily in AWS.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including PCI, SOX, SWIFT, and NIST CSF 800-53.
Provide advisory support, partnering with solutions and enterprise architects to ensure secure solutions.
Act as the eyes and ears for security within the project, maintaining a broad view across all cybersecurity aspects.
Review network flows, diagrams, and architecture diagrams to identify and mitigate security risks.
Collaborate closely with Business Information Security Officers (BISOs).
Team Philosophy : Andrew's team is committed to enabling the business by ensuring security and compliance without hindering innovation. The goal is to provide guidance and support rather than simply saying yes or no.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications :
Extensive experience in cloud security architecture, particularly with AWS.
Strong understanding of compliance requirements for PCI, SOX, SWIFT, and NIST CSF 800-53.
Proven ability to work in an advisory capacity, partnering with various stakeholders to achieve secure outcomes.
Broad knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Experience reviewing and analyzing network and architecture diagrams.
Additional Information :
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) has a background in financial services, providing a strong foundation in security practices.
Industry experience is flexible, as the environment is similar across sectors.
