Additionally, this role involves loading stocking carts/pallets, transporting cases to the sales floor, matching case strips to shelf tags/stock, placing merchandise in designated shelf/display positions, and 'facing' the front row of each display.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to solve practical problems, deal with varying variables, interpret instructions furnished in different forms, and make judgments concerning merchandise placement, case opening procedures, unsalable product damage, conversations with customers, selling of product, display of product, use of packaging materials, quality of product for display, and ordering of processed items. The ideal candidate should possess basic mathematical ability, counting skills, and language proficiency in English to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.
Work Environment
The work environment includes working on surfaces that can be wet, tile or concrete. Employees may need to ascend/descend stairs to access offices. The noise level in the work environment is moderate, but it can be somewhat noisy when power tools and equipment are in use.
