Your New Role
This person is responsible for overseeing and managing the comprehensive compensation and incentive compensation programs across the Americas. This role requires a deep understanding of compensation strategies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in HR operations, which includes HRIS. The Director provides strategic guidance to the US People & Culture team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Compensation 40%
- Oversee the administration of various compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, equity, and other incentive plans.
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and incentive strategies that align with Hays goals and market trends
HRIS / HR Operations 30%
Develop and implement HR operations and HR Information Systems (HRIS) strategies that align with the company’s overall goals as well as overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of HRIS.Identify and implement process improvements to include streamlining workflows, automating processes, and ensuring data accuracy and integrityLead and manage a team of HR operations / HRIS professionals providing guidance, training, and supportTalent Analytics 30%
Develop and implement a comprehensive talent analytics strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and drives data-driven decision-making in HR processes.Leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling to uncover insights from HR data, improving talent acquisition, retention, and development.What You Will Need to Succeed
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in HR) is preferred.Extensive experience (usually 10 years) in HR, with a focus on compensation, benefits, and HR operations.Prior leadership roles in similar capacities are essential.Preferred Certifications : Compensation Professional (CCP); Certified Benefits Professional (CBP); Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) SHRM – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environmentExpertise in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and other relevant softwareIn-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations and best practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey benefits and compensation concepts to executives and employeesThe ability to influence and drive change within the organizationStrategic thinking and decision-making expertiseProficiency in analyzing market trends and salary surveys to ensure competitive compensation packagesFamiliarity with federal and state compensation-related regulations and compliance requirementsStrong grasp of financial principles to align compensation strategies with the organization’s financial goalsWhat You Will Get in Return
