Recently, they have expanded into general contracting, focusing on commercial and multifamily projects, including office fit-outs, with values ranging from $1,000 to $2 million.
Your new role
As an Estimator, you will join an established team of 4. You'll primarily work on painting projects but can transition into bidding across all divisions as the company grows its footprint in the general contracting space. The position offers exposure to diverse projects, including multifamily, commercial, healthcare, education work in the DMV area. Project values typically range from $1,000 to $2 million.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in construction estimating, particularly for Division 9 (finishes).
Ability to read construction drawings and perform take-offs.
Familiar with estimating software and Microsoft packages.
