Your new role
As a Financial Analyst, you will be integral to the financial operations of our client's firm. Your duties will include supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting to ensure sound financial management and informed decision-making. You will be responsible for preparing various financial reports, analyzing data trends, managing financial models, and assisting with reconciliations and compliance. Additionally, you will create clear and insightful reporting documentation and provide support for special projects as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, organization, resourcefulness, and reliability
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, data modeling, PowerBI)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle large datasets with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Data and Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Over 3 years of professional experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others and prioritize tasks efficiently
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- CPA certification and/or an advanced degree, with knowledge of GAAP
- Familiarity with financial software such as Aderant or Elite
