Location : Houston, TX
Reports to : Senior Preconstruction Manager
Salary : Up to $95k, depending on experience
About the Role :
We are seeking a Junior Estimator to join our team and support our Senior Preconstruction Managers. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience in the field, particularly those with strong plan reading skills and general industry knowledge. If you have 1–2 years of experience and stand out with relevant skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in developing conceptual estimates for project pro forma budgets.
- Collaborate with project teams to forecast, monitor, and control project costs.
- Advise on alternative design and building systems to maintain budgets.
- Support the construction project management team during project buyouts.
- Help establish guaranteed maximum price (GMP) budgets.
- Lead quantity takeoff efforts and bid package preparation.
- Manage an estimating team member from our Global Support Services (GSS) in India.
- Maintain Master Exhibit B Scopes of Work and subcontractor databases.
