Duties:
- Coordinating and planning of resources including labour, materials and subcontractors
- Manage piping and welding subcontractors (process and high purity)
- General knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, building services, utilities & process piping systems
- Interpret schematics and mechanical drawings
- Manage and drive a team to meet all project requirements and deadlines
- Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
- Report variations and delays to the Project Manager.
- Prepare relevant reports
- Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
- Reporting on progress
- Ensure the quality of work is maintained throughout installation
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance by direct staff and subcontractors
- Regular reviews of working practices to help improve site safety
- A Mechanical Degree or Trade qualification is essential. Experience as a chargehand, supervisor or manager will be needed.
- 5 years’ experience with an Irish or UK contractor in a Mechanical Supervisor role. Experience as a chargehand will also be considered.
- Experience in Process Piping systems on Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices / Industrial / Data Centre or similar projects is preferable.
- Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Navisworks.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
