You will manage Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes by addressing rejected parts, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues, corporate teams, and customers to improve processes and drive continuous quality enhancements. Responsibilities:
- Inspecting incoming purchased parts and in-house machined components per sampling plans.
- Conducting internal and external quality audits and performing source inspections.
- Managing overstock returns and coordinating with customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Processing and overseeing Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), including rework and restocking efforts.
- Evaluating customer complaints, logging them in the CRM, investigating issues, and communicating corrective actions to customers.
- Ensuring production activities follow established work instructions and compliance standards.
- Performing Production Part Approval Process inspections and collaborating with Engineering to address potential issues.
- Applying quality concepts and tools, including basic statistics, for inspection, testing, and validation.
- Promoting problem-solving techniques like root cause analysis to implement corrective actions and prevent recurring issues.
- Identifying and reporting non-conformances, managing discrepancy notices, and ensuring supplier follow-ups.
- Maintaining equipment calibration to meet established standards.
- Overseeing the system for non-conforming materials and facilitating corrective actions using tools such as 8D or DMAIC.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or 3 years of experience in an ISO-9001 QA system or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to verify blueprint specifications by using calipers, micrometers, scales, torque, and pressure test equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Experience in creating test and audit reports in Excel or Word.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
Compensation: $72,900-$109,400 annual, depending on experience
