Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans for marine construction and dredging projects.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor project quality and adherence to specifications.
- Oversee testing and inspection of materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of QA/QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality standards and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in quality management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in QA/QC management within the marine construction and dredging industry.
- Proven experience working on USACE (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) projects.
- In-depth knowledge of marine construction processes, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools.
- Certifications such as CQM, CQA, or similar are preferred.
