Looking to hire a Multifamily Senior Project Manager to join a mid-sized general contractor on a multi-year, phased multifamily development in DC. Interested in talking to Construction Managers or Project Managers with 8 years who want to build a long-term career with a recognizable company in the DC area.
The position:
As a Multifamily Construction Manager, you will be tasked with leading a program of new construction multifamily projects in the district. These projects will be in contractual range of $50M-$100M, and be new, ground up developments.
This role will capture the full lifecycle of the multifamily projects from start to finish from the perspective of you leading projects as the general contractor. You will engaged in the process from preconstruction, design, permitting, zoning, construction/project management and handover to the client, managing internal and external stakeholders throughout the process.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- 8-15 years of working for a General Contractor where you are taking full ownership of project delivery from preconstruction, construction, and handover.
- Proficient understanding and expertise in multifamily new build / ground up projects in DC, managing scopes $80M
- Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate and develop relationships with multiple vendors including brokers, end client, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and the internal company employees.
- Desire to be a part of a growing organization which requires hard work and tenacity for the benefit of your long-term career, as well as playing a pivotal role in the development of the company.
- Degree in Construction, Architecture, Business or Engineering.
- Currently living and have construction experience in DC, MD or VA
Salary, Bonus and Benefit Highlights:
- Base salary evaluated on experience, up to $165k
- Company truck or monthly vehicle allowance.
- Annual bonus plan based on company health and P&L of the multifamily division.

- 401k retirement savings plan with a 4-5% match.
- 3 weeks starting vacation, plus sick and company observed holidays.
