Your new company
Hays Commercial Real Estate division has partnered with a successful owner operator, who are actively recruiting for an exciting opportunity in Washington DC for a Senior Property Manager. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing all commercial operations of a large mixed-use development in the city.
Your new role
Reporting into a Portfolio Manager and working hand-in-hand with the onsite residential team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and finances across the projects' commercial areas (including retail, office, and communal spaces). A key focus of the role will be on maintaining the highest levels of tenant and community relationships, while looking to drive foot traffic across the development.
Duties will include, but not limited to :
- Conducting regular property inspections to ensure all commercial areas are operating to the highest standards
- Preparing annual budgets and financial reports
- Overseeing capital projects / tenant build-outs
- Ensuring regular contact with tenants to maintain strong community relationships.
You will also coordinate with internal leasing, marketing and operations teams to develop initiatives to drive community engagement, such as pop-up retail and specialty activations.
