They've also just secured significant funding from a top-tier global investor to fuel their aggressive growth plans, making them exceptionally well-capitalized with over three years of runway.
Your new role
They are now seeking a VP Finance to report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in the executive team. You will guide strategic decision-making to optimize profitability, drive operational efficiencies, and position the company for sustainable, long-term success.
You'll join a business that has already built a strong Finance & Accounting team of five. This role offers an incredible growth trajectory with a potential pathway to CFO within the next two years.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 12 years progressive Finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership roe
- Retail, CPG or supply-chain experience is essential
- Proven experience of working in a fat growth, startup environment
- Experience with ERP system implementation and managing audits.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to develop and scale a team
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to be hands on
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with other leaders.
