In this role, you will collaborate with the Design Verification Test (DVT) team to create and execute test specifications, develop test cases, and validate the performance and reliability of new and updated products. Responsibilities
- Assist in developing test specifications and building test cases for design verification testing.
- Execute test plans for new and legacy products based on documented requirements.
- Debug, assemble, and test printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Create and document test procedures, specifications, and results.
- Operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, and voltmeters.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics, ensuring products meet performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in a DVT test environment or as an Electronics Engineering Technician.
- Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, soldering (through-hole and surface mount), and debugging.
- Proficiency with electronic lab equipment and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong ability to read technical documents and create viable test procedures.
- Demonstrated project team collaboration and multitasking skills.
- Experience with PCB layout and fine-pitch soldering.
- Knowledge of electronic motor control, wireless communications, and networking.
- Familiarity with DVT, SQA testing, and engineering support.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology, Software, or equivalent experience.
