Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team by preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with vendors and purchasing to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Assist walkin customers by providing knowledgeable recommendations on window and door products, including materials, styles, and performance options.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, product innovations, and building codes to educate customers and support sales efforts.
- Maintain an organized and updated showroom, ensuring product displays effectively showcase available options.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support project specifications and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Resolve customer concerns related to product selection, availability, or order fulfillment in a professional and timely manner.
- Participate in training sessions and company meetings to stay up to date on new products and policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Prior experience in window and door sales, customer service, or a related role in the building materials industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of window and door products, including materials, energy efficiency ratings, and installation best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers and team members effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing quotes, orders, and product inquiries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic sales environment.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to window and door specifications.
