What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director I, Child Development Programs position at Hayward Unified School District?
The Director of Child Development Programs administers programs in the District including the preschool program, Satellite Family Day Care, State Preschool, and School-Age Parenting Programs. The Director is responsible for coordinating curriculum development, providing professional development for staff, recruiting and assigning staff, and completing program evaluations and stare reports. In addition, the Director must have knowledge of funding terms/conditions and must manage and monitor program budgets. Responsibilits to parents are conducting parent surveys/needs assessments and providing parent education. The Director works in collaboration with the Child Care Planning Council and First Five of Alameda County. Successful grant writing experience would be beneficial.
Salary : $162,596 - $195,696
