Responsible for initiating, coordinating, and performing the administrative functions required for the effective operation and support of the nursing department. Record, track, and conduct basis analysis for data related to student population.

Associate degree in Business, Office Systems Administration, or a related field. Community College experience within the colleague system and allied health programs.

- First contact for those needing assistance in Juniper and greeting those who enter the faculty office suite.
- Responsible for answering and routing calls, greeting visitors, handling inquiries from the public and co-workers in a cooperative, courteous, and professional manner.
- Manage the digital Juniper Building room reservation scheduling.
- Ordering and inventorying office supplies, operating office equipment (copier, fax, scanner, etc.) and coordinating incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist with event setup (open houses, recruiting events, tours, and select community events) and take down.
- Some flexibility with schedule to cover occasional events in evenings such as recruiting events, Pinning, or tours.
- Primary point of contact for student interaction within the Nursing department.
- Prepare correspondence, agendas, publications, and management of departmental reporting.
- Arrange appointments, meetings, events, and travel schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, work orders, and travel requests
- Assist with monitoring, maintenance, and updates of department web presence.
- Coordinate correspondence and communication to/from faculty and staff and maintain up-to-date office files.
- Maintain currency on technology and software updates related to the responsibilities of this position.
- Assist in preparing part-time contracts based on information provided by the department dean.
- Provide support for assigned committees and various national and state organizations and participate in college-wide activities as required.
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation necessary to maintain approval and accreditation requirements with the department.
- Prepare digital surveys and forms for data collection.
- Maintain a database of RANC student data related to the program.
- Maintains strict adherence to confidentiality of students and personnel. Utilize FERPA compliance procedures in all student related matters.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team effort when needed.
- Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures.
- May operate college-owned vehicles.
Minimum Requirement:
Office Administration experience with skilled ability to communicate effectively to students, faculty, and staff. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
Preferred:Associate degree in Business, Office Systems Administration, or a related field. Community College experience within the colleague system and allied health programs.

Salary : $31,200 - $35,193
