Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments and treatments.
- Perform basic diagnostic procedures and collect specimens.
- Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
- Document patient care provided.
Maintain examination areas, equipment, and medical supplies, including stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
Administrative Duties
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned, such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
- Other tasks may be delegated by practice leads, supervisors, managers, or the Market Director.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Previous medical experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment are essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a stressful environment is necessary.
Licenses and Certifications
- Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant required.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
