Job Summary
Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU team. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Respond to emergencies and maintain accurate records of patient progress
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and patients
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- AHA ACLS and AHA PALS certifications within six months of hire
- One year of experience in ICU nursing preferred
