Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the operating room team.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff members to ensure they meet the needs of the department.
- Monitor and improve patient satisfaction and quality metrics.
Requirements
- Masters Degree preferred, with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of five years of progressing operating room nursing experience.
- One year of experience as a nurse manager or supervisor preferred.
