Job Description
This role involves overseeing the execution of engineering projects, ensuring they meet profitability and timeliness goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and leading engineering programs, managing resources, and removing obstacles hindering team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Develop detailed manpower plans and schedules to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, priorities, and resources.
- Identify opportunities for improving engineering processes and technology related to continuous casting systems.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley core systems (PLC, Drives, and HMIs).
- Experience in programming and developing user interfaces for both Siemens and Allen Bradley systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery safety codes and risk analysis.
- Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical, Automation Engineering or a related field, with 10 years of experience preferred.
